Dear Intervac Members
Let me, at first, present my family :
My wife Francoise and me, Ameziane, are both physician, respectively aged 68 and 70.
We have three children living by their own .
We live since 1989 in our house located in Domarin, a small village close by a bigger town of 30.000 inhabitants : Bourgoin-Jallieu . This town is in south-east of France, halfway beetwen Lyon ( 40 km W ) and Grenoble ( 50 km E ) , semi-rural, very quiet but also near by all conveniences :

International Airport of Lyon-Satolas distant from 20 km,
Access to Highway A43 ( Lyon - Genève - Italy ) at 2 km,
Railway-station in Bourgoin giving access to Paris for exemple within 3 hours by TGV,
All kind of shops and services can be founded at close proximity .

To complete this geographic description, i'll tell you that Bourgoin-Jallieu is the capital of North Dauphine, a province limited
at West by the city of Lyon (second city of France, capital of French gastronomy )
at East by Grenoble and the Alpes mountains,
at North by the marshland of Bresse
and at South by the Provence .

The exact south-limit is the city of Vienne ( 20 km ) well known by its International Jazz Festival in July, in an Antique Theater.

Within 2 hours, a lot of interesting cities can be visited : Lyon, Grenoble, Annecy, Vienne, Geneve in Switzerland . To visit Torino in Italy, the travel by car will take you 3 hours .

If you prefer nature, you'll have choice between Alpes Mountains, marshlands of Bresse, the hills of Beaujolais or Drome ( Haute Provence ), all this for one day trip .
This area can be also described as the country of Beaujolais, Cotes du Rhone and Bourgogne if you like fine wines .
The weather in very fine in summer, and the temperature beetwen 25°C and 30°C .
Our house is an old village-building recently restored, composed by three floors of 100 m² each :
- 4 bedrooms, a TV-room and a bathroom in the second floor,
- a wide and sunny lounge, a kitchen, a dinning room, a bathroom and a bureau on the 1st floor
- a wide playing-room, a laundry and a cellar on the underground .
You'll find all modern conveniencies : TV and videocollection, an extensive CD, HIFI settings collection, microwave, diswasher, washing-machine, computer and WIFI ...

You'll appreciate to swim in our swimming pool or simply have sun around it . Il order to prevent dramatic events, this pool inclosed by a glass shelter .

Cars can be parked in a great courtyard and in the first floor of our rustic barn .
The second floor of this barn is a wide flat occupied by an ukrainian refugee, a young but talented musician. He may leave in August or September to reach a Switz music school.
He is a quite kind person and never disturb you.

We use to have our meals on our sunny terrasse in the garden .

The neighborhood is very quiet, only bird songs may possibly make some "noise" .
We have two cars, both five seated. The little one is an electric Renault ZOÉ convenient for short journeys ( 200 km ) The other one is a wide Honda CRV . Either of these vehicles could be available for your use if a car exchange is expected .
We are interested by a journey during 2 or 3 weeks in August.
