Retired seniors but reinvented with a love of travel, house exchanges.
We are two retired professionals but as Mark loves helping others, he is enjoying a second career as a home handyman, working with our son in his renovation business. I love walking either urban landscapes or some of the more wild parks and wilderness areas all so close. I also love cooking, and write either travel or person short narratives when not traveling or visiting our kids.
We have 3 adult children all living in the city or close enough so we get to keep up with our 4 teenaged grandchildren. We also have a 2 year old Vizsla grandpuppy who is crazy fun.
We husband & I love traveling, usually and with family members. We also love reading, learning about the area we visit, enjoy wine, and I like to cook with family or friends.
For the Fall of 2026 I'd like to arrange a house exchange in England so my sister can join us to do some walking. When not walking, we plan to explore the area with my non-walking (cranky knees) husband.
In 2023 we did an exchange in S. Croydon, so spent much of our time in/or around London. This time will be our third trip to England with the first in Cambridge. We hope to see more of the countryside and a different part of England. We love England!
Following our visit to England we want to head south for 2-3 weeks, arranging an exchange in either southern Portugal or Spain so we can briefly dip down into Africa.
We are unable to exchange during summer.
