Heel huis met grote tuin aan de gracht in het centrum van Amsterdam
Four hundred year old house with authentic layout and details, completely modernized and comfortable. The house is full of history and is located opposite the Amstelveld, a pleasant square with many different catering establishments and nice terraces.
The house has six floors, including a basement with its own entrance, which was originally the entrance for the staff. On the street side there is a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine and dryer. The basement also has a separate toilet and a large living room with a projector for cozy movie evenings and a dining or games table for six people with a cupboard full of games. The basement gives access to the garden at the rear with a large artificial lawn, a dining phase and a sofa and open fire pit.
The first floor has access via the stairs at the front of the facade. This official entrance for residents takes you directly to the first floor with a luxurious open kitchen with luxury oven and microwave, food processor, Nespresso machine, large refrigerator and freezer and a lot of cooking utensils, crockery and glasses. There is a dining table for eight people and access to the garden via a balcony where there is a patio table and three chairs for the first morning sun and the first coffee... On the street side of this floor is the cozy living room with fireplace, sofa and a real windowsill where you can sit and look out over the canal. There is a mezzanine that we use for morning meditation and some yoga with nice carpeting, this is the third floor.
On the fourth floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed of 180 x 200 cm including a bathroom with a double shower and washbasin with two sinks. On the same floor you'll find the study with two desks on the street side with a view over the canal and the Amstelveld with a new luxury sofa bed 140 x 205 cm.
On the fifth floor you'll find two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with sink, shower and bath. The house has four bedrooms and a study with a sofa bed, three bathrooms and offers more than enough space for ten guests.

The Prinsengracht crosses the Utrechtsestraat here, where you can find a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, including no fewer than three star restaurants, three Italian restaurants, two Indonesian restaurants, a Greek restaurant, a Swiss restaurant, a tapas bar, a Thai restaurant, a burger bar and many more. lots of great delicatessen shops with wine, cheeses, chocolate, pastries in addition to quite a few clothes and shoe shops; Gapstar, Bellerose and many more. Within walking distance is Rembrandtplein, Kalverstraat and De Pijp, a favorite neighborhood with many varied eateries, the large popular Albert Cuyp market. The metro and tram 2 stop within walking distance, the entire city center is easily accessible from here, either by foot, bike or public transport.
