Kitchener, Canada

We are retired couple living in Kitchener Ontario in a rental 2BD 2 BA on the main floor. The complex is 2 years old, has a gym and a playroom with foosball, pool and ping-pong tables. The apartment is 875SQF, has one bedroom with a king size bed, TV and 4pcs bathroom, second bedroom has a single bed and a 4 pcs bathroom. There are closets and dressers in both rooms. In the kitchen there is an oven, electric stove burners, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer, 4solid wood chairs and a table. The living room area has a couch, 2 arm chairs and a shelf with TV. A small balcony, WIFI and cable are available. There is easy access to Toronto and Niagara highways, which are 1 hour and respectively 2 hours drive. We have an automatic 2017 Nissan Qashqai for our guests. Within 1-2 hours drive there are several historical places, many golf courses and wineries. We suggest to visit Strafford, Port Dover, Goderich or Collingwood, try to get a hole in one at Mystic, Grey Silo, Rebel Creek or Foxwood golf courses. Grocery stores, fast food restaurants, a steak house and a lounge grill, bank, medical clinic are within 5 minutes walk. Stunning Muskoka region and Perry Sound are worth the 4 hour drive for nature lovers.

Arnold, our orange male cat will keep you company, 3 years ago I found him on the golf course and brought him home skinny and starved, he was eating peanuts and potato chips. He is friendly, relaxed, not skinny any longer and purrs like a tractor.

As a couple, Sally and I, we enjoy travel, golf, writing and good food as I am a retired chef. We are new members on the exchange house service but everyone must start somewhere.
