Cabin, on the Jurassic Coast, World Heritage Site. On the coastal path 3 miles from Durdle Door. Sea views of Weymouth Bay and Portland
Wooden cabin near the sea. Spectacular views.Two bedrooms and one bunk room, one shower room. Kitchen/living room and decks. Outside shower. Ideal quiet retreat; walking; water sport; beach; bike riding....Weymouth & Dorchester 20mins drive; Poole & Swanage 40mins. Durdle Door 3 miles walk; Wells, Bath, Bristol, Exeter within 2hrs drive. 2.5hrs by train to London.
Note.
No central heating, so we use panel wall infra red heaters, air to air heat-pump, when cold (there are drafts so wrap up). Solar panels and battery power as well etc. Garden steep but steps down okay, but use with care. Therefore not ideal for young children. Outside kitchen/BBQ area and 'garden room' with sofa-bed. Limited to four visitors.
1km gated access track to property, not suitable for low ground clearance cars (sports), normal ground clearance is fine and don't need 4x4 but track does get a bit muddy! Enjoy the adventure!

Lifestyle
Retired teacher and Non Exec Director. Two boys, and grandchildren. Our 'eco-cabin' home has been a restoration project for over five years. It's a little remote but ideal for walking, biking, swimming and generally relaxing. Winters are our favourites. It can be cold and wild when the Atlantic gales arrive.
Our campervan holidays have been our main travel focus since 2018. We now hope to mix a home exchange(s) with longer road trips...
